About

Graduate urban planning student and Google-certified educator passionate about the activation of accessible, interactive, and pedestrianized spaces.

My background in community development and creative problem solving fused with my love of design has informed my drive to promote safer, healthier, and more livable neighborhoods and cities. My experience in education has allowed me to develop robust curriculums for schools and startups in Thailand, Nicaragua, California, and Arizona. These professional and personal opportunities have shaped an innovative perspective on how the built environment can be molded to profoundly impact human physical and mental well-being.

I’m currently studying City & Regional Planning with an Urban Design specialization at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I serve as the Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Vertically Integrated Project: Building for Equity and Sustainability. Through the VIP, I serve as the graduate advisor for the Campus Equity and Sustainability Tours and as a Placekeeping co-lead of an outdoor classroom development project. I also am hosting the relaunch of the “Global Goals, Greater Atlanta” U.N. Regional Centre of Expertice (RCE) Sustainable Development Goals podcast.

For effective urban planning and design, I believe in life-long learning, supporting community-driven initiatives, and having an ability to break down complex challenges in communicative ways.
